My favorite musical is "Sweeney Todd". This musical horror story
is exciting, scary and has wonderful music. The original play was written
The story is about a barber who is deported unjustly by a judge.
Years later he returns to London to find his wife and daughter. He changes
his name from Benjamin Barker to Sweeney Todd and moves into a room over a
shop that sells meat pies. He makes friends with the woman ....

.... this musical when I was very young. It is still one of
my favorites. George Hearn plays Sweeney Todd and his singing is great.
But it is Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Lovett that I like best.
I would recommend this musical to anyone.
