At one point a ship passed by the island but did not see the smoke because Jack took all his hunters who were supposed to keep the fire lit, on a hunt, Ralph was indignant! He yelled at Jack like he was never going to forgive or forget about the incident. The other boys could have released their anger against Jack; however, Ralph was the most outraged.
